Jenny has been involved in commercial legal issues since completing her early legal career at Webber Wentzel Bowens. She spent time in the commercial arena with Fisher Hoffman Stride (as commercial and legal advisor in the specialised structured film finance division) and Nampak Limited (as assistant group legal advisor) during which she advised and consulted management on a range of commercial agreements and transactions including advising on and implementing corporate structures, negotiations to raise finance, agreements of lease, sale of shares, sale of business management/ administration of film productions, drafting applications to the South African Reserve Bank and the Department of Trade and Industry, advising on intellectual property queries, shareholders agreements and compliance issues.
